Site Maintenance

The vast majority of web sites will need to be updated on a regular basis to ensure that visitors return again and again.  Sometimes it is not advisable to overdo this, as people also like familiarity, so our advice is don't have a major overhaul too often, but make sure the content is as fresh as possible at all times.

The best way of achieving this is through database driven content, but outside of that other site maintenance will be required.  

All Bytecraft web site customers will automatically receive periodical maintenance checks to ensure all links are operational, search engine listings are still enabled and the site is fully operational.

The maintenance checks can also be used to add new sections of the site, a discussion group for example (which in its own right is an excellent way of keeping content going - as your visitors will do it for you!  Check out our Discussion Group for an example).
